MHRise on the Switch was very reminiscent to the MH games on the PSP, which was awesome, but with better graphics. I put a lot of hours into World but after playing Rise, I tried World again and couldn’t do it…it was too slow lol Wirebug and Palamute make the game so much faster. But now I play Rise on the PS5, looks amazing.

I think a lot of miss the point that your the monster because you're arrogance and prideful in your mercy. You are the one who is bringing calamity upon all rather than finishing the job. When you make this choice to be ruthless you are saving people from all the tragedy that will happen... And make note, Odysseus's flaw is hubris, not that he is showing mercy, but rather being merciful in ways that lead to him being prideful which leads to the punishment. Lots of the gods are on his side, but they see his arrogance and need to make him understand or when he gets home, there will be problems that will lead to his and his son's death. Also...for reference Circe and Odysseus have 3 children and those songs are about getting it on, but the kept clean. This is also referenced and used as a point in a future entry which u believe it does in the Oddisey and the explanation is that his mind had always been loyal. Also... you seemed to be confused with the him leading 600 men in war thing. This takes place after the Trojan war on the way back home after winning, where he lost no men over the course of several years. The songs skip it, but Odysseus, before sets sail passes off a one or more of the gods resulting in them punishing him with being unable to ever get home.

If you didn't notice... when Odysseus becomes the monster he betrays himself at the moment that his kindness works to convince someone... that someone who, in the gods' eyes has the same fault as Odysseus, showing mercy... and in doing so, the hope she has that maybe being merciful will bring good people to her shores ends with her just being looked at as a monster, a trial, to be conquered and slain, creating the opposite effect that she was intending... just like Odysseus does with every encounter up to this point

i feel so bad for peter pan god. It makes it even scarier that even if peter and the others knew, tinkerbell and her friends will still live because they will fear them. Fairies also lived by belief, thats why when peter stopped believing in tinkerbell in the movie she grew weak. now the others will believe by fear, but it still count as believing so yeah she could do that without consequences. I guess the only reason she didnt because she knew they were innocent and deserve to at least be at peace despite knowing theyre trap there but alas you cant deceive them forever.

I do know basically the cliff notes of the odyssey…yet his mom coming in still made me cry. 😭
